Before you continue I would like you to know that this blog
(myfreehomemade) was design to train on how to make different homemade products. In this blog, you will have the chance to learn how to
make other very important product that can be of help to you.
Let me give you some of the things you can learn from this blog…
Homemade Hair shampoo and many other great products that you can make on your own.
The next thing to do now is to know the equipment needed in
the production process of homemade bleach.
You will be so surprise when you realise that the materials and chemicals are very easy to
find and that you do not need to own large machines or a very big factory to make good and quality homemade bleach for clothes.
Apparatus:
1.
Boiler (which can be inform of a pot or you can
get a boiler)
2.
Stirrer (these can be either plastic or iron but
plastic is better),
3.
Heater (this can be either locally or you can
get one for your production),
4.
Filter and
5.
Container for packaging your already made homemade bleach.
Just like every other production process, after knowing the
apparatus, you need to know the chemicals (materials) in making your homemade bleach for clothes and their formulation
(measurement). Now let us look at the chemicals and formulation.
Formulation for homemade bleach:

NOTE: All the
above chemicals are subjected to multiplication or division, provided that it
is done with a constant factor (500 ml of soda ash ÷ 2 = 250 ml and 500 ml of
silicate÷
2 = 250 ml) I believe you get that. Like a said before this is the most
important aspect of manufacturing/production once you get this wrong you will
not produce a good quality homemade bleach or any other product you want to
produce. So always make sure to take extra time in the study and application of
the right formulation in your production process no matter how small what you
want to produce may be.
So now that you know the formulation needed in the
production of homemade bleach bleach for clothes, let us now go
into main production. But before we proceed, I would like you to go over the
formulation again and get it into your head.
VERY IMPORTANT: Most of these chemicals are gotten easily from
a very good chemical shop or company. But ensure to buy the original as a fake
chemical will not only give you a very poor quality product but may be harmful
to your health during the production process.
Methods:
I will make as easy as possible that you will start
making your own homemade bleach for clothes right from
where you are. So let me show you the easy process of bleach production.
Clean the boiler very well, measure the specified amount
of water (10,000 – 20,000 ml), note that the more the water the lesser the
effectiveness of your product (bleach).
So with this, you now know that you need to add the water in little quantity to
see how effective your homemade bleach will
be if very effective, all you need to do is to add more water but still add
little quantity of water. Having done that, the next thing you need to do is to
add the H.T.H (Chlorine) (2000 ml), soda ash (500 ml), ammonia (200 ml) and the
silicate (500 ml). Then heat properly as you heat stir very well. You are
almost done with the production. You have just one step to go in making your homemade bleach.
After heating and stirring very well, take down you
solution form the heating source and allow to cool down considerable and then
filter.
Great now take a very good look at what you have in your
bowl? What would you call it? That’s bleach
you just produced in less than 4 hours.
I want you to do one little thing, take out your
calculator and calculate the cost of your production and how much it would have
cost you to buy it in the nearest shop.
