1.	High density nitrosol (thickener)	2 kg
2.	Ethanol 96%	40 liters
3.	Methyl paraben	4 table spoon full
4.	T.E.A	8 liters
5.	Fragrance	To taste
6.	Colorant	To taste
7.	Water	4 liters

Note: all the above measurements are subject to multiplication and division but make sure it is done with a constant factor. (E.g. 40 liters of ethanol divide by (2) = 20 cups. 4 liters of water of divided by (2) = 2 liters. If you get this wrong you will not produce a good hair styling gel

Method:

1.      Dissolve the nitrosol (thickener) in the water and stir properly

2.      Dissolve the methyl paraben with 200ml out of the 4 liters formulation water and add the sample nitrosol in which you dissolved in water

3.      Add ethanol gradually in bits and stir properly

4.      Add the T.E.A (thickener) which is the active ingredient in obtaining gel texture

5.      Stir until a creamy smooth texture is observed, then add your colorant and the fragrance

Once that is done, you have just made yourself a very good styling gel and you can either make use of it personally or market your product.
